Moss Motorfest - Car Show & Open House

Hello!
I hope you don’t mind this email from me today, I wanted to extend a special invitation to Moss’ Miata club contacts to please come join us at our Moss “Motorfest”! This is our large open house and car show at our Petersburg, VA location.

On Friday June 2, we will have a Pre-Party from 4-8 pm. From 4-6 Moss will host the induction of the inaugural class of the British Sports Car Hall of Fame. While not necessarily devoted to Miatas, we think you might be interested to know the class involves famous names such as Peter Egan, Bob Tullius, and Sir Stirling Moss. From 6-8 your $15 ticket will include hor d’oeuvres and a demonstration by the Moss Upholstery team. Beer, wine and sodas will be available for purchase.
Then Saturday June 3 is our really big day! Our car show will start with cars arriving at 8 am, and you’ll have all morning to look at all the entries and vote for your favorite. We’ll have tours of our facility every half hour, led by our owners. There will be a DJ, a bounce house for the kids, and food truck vendors on site, including a dessert truck. Our Sales staff will be on hand to take your orders for parts with a 15% discount. Spectators will have free parking but I’d like to encourage you to enter your Miatas in our show! Winners will be announced and awards handed out at 1 pm. Car Show entry is $20 per car.
We will have many vendors on-site as well. Jaguar will have a huge tent to show off their new cars. Findanza, DBA Brakes, and Mishimoto will be on hand. We are also welcoming Miata Custom Luggage and Palm Breeze Detailer. You can have your car’s photo taken and printed into a poster by Double Vision Photo. Show off your racing skills at the Sim Racing trailer, where you sit in a real race seat, use real pedals, even shift a manual transmission as you race a competitor on tracks from all over the world.
I’ve been in touch with Miata owners from Florida to Canada and all points between who are coming to our event. I hope to add you to that list! If you have any questions, please let me know. Hello,
The Land of the Vikings (LOV) Board would like to invite your members to our first Car/Vendor Show this August 12, 2017. We are reaching out to the car clubs in our area. We hope to make this an annual event and welcome your members. We need your help to make this a success. The show will be held 10:00am to 4:00pm. Please look at the attached flyer and cover letter.
LOV is a hotel that belongs to the Third District, Sons of Norway. We are a fraternal organization with over 6000 members on the east coast of the United States. We are located in Sherman, PA which is about five miles from Deposit, NY. LOV’s grounds are 150 + acres and are surrounded by Pennsylvania State lands.

Nutmeg Miata (summer Camp) event

The Nutmeg Miata Club is having an event in August and I have included below the post from our Forum that says it all! We are extending invitations to the Miata Clubs in the Northeast and using contact addresses that are on Miata.net. The Ticket Order Form is also included below. We ask that you make this invitation available to your members.Any questions can be directed to events@nutmegmiatainc.orgAll year long our significant others, children, families, neighbors, co-workers, fellow club members, etc., hear about and support (or put up with) our fanaticism for the vehicle that we love called the Miata. We have great fun in our vehicles. How about having great fun out of our vehicle on a late summer day with all those who have enjoyed the ride with us either figuratively or literally ?
The Nutmeg Miata Club has reserved the date of SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, 2017 to have a get together at a place called Holiday Hill in Prospect, Connecticut. This facility offers us a 10:00AM to 5:00PM day filled with activities, food, scenic views, more activities, more food, etc., etc. for very reasonable all inclusive ticket prices for adults and children(alcoholic drinks extra). Remember field days, remember summer camp, remember family reunions? This is all that and more. Can the NA's beat the NB's at horseshoes, volleyball, bocce. How much unlimited popcorn, ice cream and soda can your child (or you) consume? Will you get an airbrushed tattoo, swim, canoe, play bingo or just relax? The total solar eclipse on the following day is also a cause for celebration, or, for those doomers, a cause for one last big hurrah.
All are welcome. Invite your friends, invite your family, invite your neighbors. Bring the family minivan full. Miatas will have dedicated parking.
Ticket orders are being taken from now until August 7, 2017 but the sooner you send in your payment the sooner the tickets will be mailed to you. Do not RSVP to the Nutmeg Miata Club event area. Your payment will be your RSVP.

Hello from the Vermont Miata club! For the last four years our club has been making an annual trip to Rangeley,Maine, from Burlington, Vermont, for the twisty roads, the great scenery, the spectacular foliage and the chance to spot Moose. Each year we stay at the same hotel, the Country Club Inn, which is a rustic, clean, friendly spot with magnificent views overlooking Rangeley Lake from high on a hilltop. Our room rate includes made to order breakfast and we have always enjoyed dinner in their superb Dining room. It really is the best restaurant in town and beyond. Once again we have reserved a block of rooms for October 7 of this year and we would like to invite other New England and New York state clubs to join us.
